FICRA's Fox Island Fair
The annual Fox Island Fair runs the second Saturday in August.
Featuring hand made crafts, pottery, art, locally produced jams & jellies, games, beer garden, bingo game, book sale and floral display.
Come join your neighbors and friends at at the Nichols Community Center for Fox Island's annual summer tradition, the 2010 FICRA Fair. Have a Fair burger, some ethnic food, or some of the Island's own home made blackberry cobbler.
Get your kids involved in a booth, let them raise money and have a fun project. Sell your wares, play games or other fun stuff. Pick up your FICRA Phone Book, get this year's T-shirt, and see the world's shortest parade!

Gig Harbor Film Festival - October 15-17
This annual festival runs October 15-17, 2010.
The mission of the Gig Harbor Film Festival is to feature independent films that draw on the unifying power of cinema to promote understanding, tolerance and global awareness.
Our commitment is to educate, entertain and inspire filmmakers and audiences alike while enriching the cultural vitality of the community through the art of cinema.
The GHFF Board proposed to undertake the annual film festival in Gig Harbor, with its inaugural event schedule for September 2008.
The festival was to include local, regional, and international filmmakers to advance a variety of creative ideas and bring the community a diverse range of appealing films, giving aspiring filmmakers an opportunity to present their efforts to a sophisticated audience and gain recognition beyond the local level.
Filmmakers are encouraged to submit their films by visiting our website for film submission guidelines.
